Shipping Policy


Where Do We Ship?

Shipping alcohol is a complicated, multi-faceted process that is always subject to change. Please note that some states have laws on the shipment of alcohol that prohibit us from shipping to addresses in those states. While we do our best to stay abreast of state-level changes, the following bullet points are a guide. If you have any questions please call us at the shop prior to placing your order.

  • We ship wine accessories and alcohol-removed wines to all 50 states.
  • We ship wine to the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, LA, MD, ME, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, VA, WA, WI, WV, WY. We ship to most (but not all) zip codes in the following states: DE, IL, KY, MA, MI, NJ, OK, RI, TX.
  • We ship spirits only within the state of New York.
  • We cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Handling and Delivery Time
*Note: Certain destinations may require up to 14-days total transit and handling time. Please call 631-324-2622 if you have any questions regarding time in transit to your location.

All orders will be confirmed via e-mail. We will contact you if there are any problems with your order. You will be promptly notified by email of any unexpected delays in processing and/or shipping. Shipping wine during the summer months is not recommended due to high risk of heat spoilage. Orders received during this period will be held pending customer approval of waiver for release. Insurance does not include coverage for temperature-related damage. We are happy to hold your order until weather conditions are favorable for safe shipping.


Billing Information

Orders placed on this website are not final. Your credit card is not charged automatically. A charge is put on your credit card after the product has been packed and the order is deemed complete. Please note that all credit cards are verified. You must provide a billing address that corresponds to the credit card you are using. If the billing address does not match the credit card you will be informed and the order will not be processed until we hear from you.


Shipping and Handling Costs

The shipping costs are automatically calculated at the time the order is placed. If you would like to know the shipping cost to a particular area, please select your items and enter your zip code in the shopping cart. Prices of our wines do not include shipping/handling charges, which vary depending on destination, number of bottles ordered and choice of delivery options.



Every shipping order that departs Park Place Wines is insured to its FULL VALUE. Insurance is not optional and is included in the shipping fee.


Age Requirement

The purchase of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited by law. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine or spirits. By placing an order through our website, you are representing yourself to us as at least 21 years of age and that the person to whom it is being shipped is at least 21 years of age. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity before processing an order. Title to the wine you order passes to you as soon as it leaves our doors; it is up to you to know the relevant laws in your state.


An adult signature with proof of age verification is required at time of delivery. Please be aware that someone over the age of 21 must be available to sign for the package. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will not be left. We cannot ship wine to PO Boxes or APO addresses.


Can I expedite my shipment?
At this time only orders shipped within New York State can be expedited. Simply select an expedited option at the checkout. All other shipments leaving NY are shipped via Ground. Transport time increases to and including 14-days for the farthest destinations.
How do I track my order?
Many states outside New York are reachable only via third-party carriers. In these cases you will be provided a tracking number only once your shipment has departed the distribution center in New Rochelle. During normal operations, this step adds a delay of two days before tracking is issued. If you have any questions or have yet to receive your tracking, please call us at the shop and have your order number handy.


Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
All packages containing alcohol must be signed for by an adult over the age of 21. Many customers choose to have their order sent to their work address so that an adult is present to sign for it. If an order is sent to a home address and an adult is not present, the carrier will re-attempt delivery the following business day. If the second attempt is not successful the shipment will be returned to us. An additional shipping charge may be required to re-dispatch the package.


Legal Disclaimer
The buyer assumes title of the wines once purchased. By arranging for transportation of the wine, we are providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wine and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the wine shipped to him or her.
