For my gifts, I selected Champagnes of interest and quality across a range of prices. I chose Pannier Champagne for its easy-to-love taste profile and unbeatable value. I based my picks on an array of fun, interesting and serious wines in a variety price points. Some are unique and difficult to get, others are a fantastic value for their level of quality. For example the La Cabanne below is $72, yet is from the western plateau of Pomerol where top vineyards (like the one that grows Petrus) are located. It is also drinking beautifully right now, with 15 years of age. I feel any of these wines will make even the most picky wine-lover happy. I also added in some great wines with big brand names, because, well, you know...

For my recommendations, I chose what I feel are the some of the most special white wines in the store, regardless of price. Some are more esoteric while others are crowd-pleasers.  All are beautifully crafted and often small production wines that our customers love. I know that whoever the lucky recipient is of any of these wines, he/she will be pleased. 

There are so many options out there to choose from when it comes to selecting a spirit as a gift.  It can be difficult to find that perfect fit, so I have tagged some of our favorites that are amazing examples of elixirs sure to satisfy a curious newbie or even the most perceptible imbiber. All are wonderful winter sippers. For example, the rosemary, thyme and basil flavors in Gin Mare martini will pair with holiday hors d'oeuvres and the vanilla and caramel notes of the 18 year old Flor de Cana will impart warmth as temps drop.  Black Button Bourbon Cream will be a hit - we promise. 

I focused on libations that are both special and versatile. My recommendations span a variety of price ranges and there are some fantastic values sprinkled in.  For example, I selected at Churchill's Reserve Porto, which is very well-crafted, high-quality and will impress any wine or spirit enthusiast.  The Giffard Banane du Bresili tastes like a bananas foster without filling you up and Mr. Black...well, you just have to try it on its own or in your next espresso martinti.  I hope you enjoy perusing my recommendations.
